Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It began as a way of seeing the world and became a way of understanding it.

My work explores the spaces where opposites meet: strength and vulnerability, beauty and imperfection, certainty and change. Through vibrant color, layered textures, and a dialogue between realism and abstraction, I create paintings that reflect the complexity of being human. Horses, bulls, dancers, musical instruments, butterflies, hummingbirds, and dragonflies appear throughout my work—not simply as subjects, but as symbols of freedom, resilience, transformation, expression, and hope.

Much of my work is inspired by memory. Not memory as a record of events, but memory as emotion—how experiences evolve over time and continue to shape who we become. Fragmented forms often coexist with realistic elements, reflecting the contrast between what we show the world and what we carry within.

Whether working in acrylic, oil, or mixed media, I am drawn to the beauty that emerges through transformation. Again and again, my paintings return to the same idea: that what is broken can become beautiful, that change can reveal strength, and that even life's contradictions can exist in harmony.

The works that follow span different collections, commissions, and periods of my artistic journey, yet they share a common thread: a celebration of resilience, meaning, and the stories that shape our lives.
